Cookie and Local Storage Notice
How OffGrid uses essential browser storage and when third-party services may receive technical information.
Essential storage
OffGrid uses cookies or similar browser storage where needed to keep you signed in, protect account sessions, remember accessibility and device preferences, preserve approved offline content and maintain security. Disabling this storage may prevent account or offline features from working.
Third-party services
When you choose a feature that uses maps, payments or other connected services, that provider may receive the technical information needed to deliver the feature and may use its own essential cookies or storage. The Privacy Notice identifies the providers and the data involved.
Analytics and advertising
OffGrid does not use advertising cookies or build advertising profiles. Product analytics and error-monitoring senders remain off unless deliberately enabled under the platform's privacy controls. This notice will be updated before any material change in those practices.
Optional sign-up measurement
With your permission only, OffGrid measures steps on its own site — for example the campaign code and page you arrived on, demo use, and whether sign-up started, finished or hit an error category. This is pseudonymous, not anonymous: it stores a random browser identifier (replaced with a new one 30 days after it was created) and the first campaign code (up to 30 days) in this browser, and keeps records on OffGrid's own servers for up to 180 days. If you sign in while it is allowed, that identifier is linked to your account so staff and test accounts can be excluded and new registrations counted. No names, emails, locations, full web addresses or referrers are recorded, nothing is shared with advertising platforms, and Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signals turn it off. Turning it off stops measurement immediately and asks OffGrid's server to delete this browser's records and account link; this page tells you whether the server confirmed deletion and lets you retry if it did not.
Your controls
Your browser can block or clear cookies and site storage. Clearing OffGrid storage signs you out and can remove device preferences and downloaded offline information. Account data held by OffGrid is managed through Settings, not by clearing browser storage.
